SMF VRLA

This is the most common type of battery used on UPS systems and for backup of telecommunications systems. VRLA batteries are designed to be maintenance free and the hydrogen that is emitted is recombined internally so that the electrolyte does not need replacing over the life of the battery, a valve is installed to release any excess pressure that may build up if the battery were failing. These batteries are designed to operate at an ambient temperature of 25°C -27°C.

 

SMF VRLA stands for Sealed Maintenance Free Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery. These batteries are spill and leak proof, free from orientation constraints, have excellent charge retention and recovering ability, thus widely used in various applications like UPS systems, telecommunication equipments, security systems etc. these batteries also possess superior high rate discharge capability.
